Terms of Service — Solarswytch

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using the Solarswytch platform operated by Solarswytch Pvt. Ltd. ("Solarswytch", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (or your organisation) and Solarswytch. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Solarswytch is offered on monthly or annual subscription plans as listed on our pricing page.
All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel anytime from your account dashboard before the renewal date.
Refunds are not provided for partial periods, except where required by applicable Indian consumer protection law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
Non-payment for more than 14 days may result in service suspension; data will be retained for 30 days post-suspension.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian or international law.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
Upload malicious code, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with platform integrity.
Resell, sublicense or white-label the platform without our written consent.
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the platform.
Input false, misleading, or fraudulent business data that could harm other users or third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, algorithms, designs, trademarks and content comprising the Solarswytch platform are owned by or licensed to Solarswytch Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any IP rights to you.

You retain full ownership of the business data (customer records, quotations, job details) you input into the platform. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service.

5. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all your requirements. Subsidy figures and pricing data shown are for reference; always verify current rates with the relevant government authority before finalising a customer quote.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Solarswytch's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Before initiating litigation, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.

8. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice for material changes. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases; data export is available for 30 days post-termination.
